The middle layer is a filter made with fine nonwoven fabric, which stops microorganisms from getting through the fabric. The filtering efficiency is over 95%.

Inner fabric dries quickly in low humidity. It is soft and flexible, so it feels comfortable over the mouth and nose. It also does not cause allergy reactions, and contains zero carcinogen.
Fabrics and surfaces that have been treated with the AnbaTec technology have positively-charged particles binding with the fabric fibers. Viruses and bacteria have negatively-charged membranes or envelopes. Therefore AnbaTec antimicrobial particles are able to bind themselves to the negatively-charged pathogens and trap them.

Once the microorganisms have been destroyed, they lose their negative charge. They then simply fall off the fabric or can be washed off. Then, the positive particles can bind themselves to a new microorganism.
